Johanna Bernabe

A global citizen with creative flair, Johanna Bernabe is thrilled to have made her home in San Francisco and is excited to help others do the same.  Having traveled extensively on six continents, she still thinks the Bay Area is the best place on Earth.

While on the road, Johanna often found herself stopping to check out open houses or agents’ window displays, and loved gaining insights on everything from architectural styles to eating customs.  She soon realized that she could use her keen understanding of these elements back home to assist clients seeking the perfect houses for their lifestyles or to expertly present their existing homes for sale.  Johanna considers herself a supporter of and advocate for her clients above all else, and she takes the responsibility imposed by their trust seriously.

Johanna has always taken great pride in acting as a thread tying together members of a team.  As a proud first-generation Filipina-American, a collective mindset is in her blood.  In her previous role with Tesla, she developed and implemented project strategies in collaboration with engineers, lab managers, and executives. Helping these stakeholders connect to first understand and then achieve their common goals required assertiveness and lucid communication, two of the most important skills Johanna now brings to her real estate career.

Her friends know Johanna as an expert “vibe designer” for parties and events, and she loves bringing people together through art.  She has designed album covers for musician friends and looks forward to trying standup one day.  A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science, Johanna is a lifelong environmental advocate.  She once trained sea otters and sea lions at the Aquarium of the Pacific and has followed the wind around the world as a kite surfer and scuba diver.

Johanna truly cares about making a difference in her communities.  Inspired by her mother’s work with Habitat for Humanity, she has volunteered in soup kitchens during the holidays and helped teach Kenyan children math on Zoom.  Johanna loves sampling Korean restaurants around the Bay Area, and lives in Golden Gate Heights.
